Enlightening. Revealing. Jolting.
It was all my dreams come true.
You - the birthplace of my soul mate
the keeper of my love.
You the land of Guru Padmasabava
Whose many blessings you enjoy.

You taught me
love
patience
kindness
humility
wonder

You revived in me
my lost sense of wonder
my childlike innocence
my true potential
my true place on earth.

You showed me
the kindness of strangers
the love of a father for his child
the true beauty of nature
the oneness of humanity
the meaning of impermanence
the importance of mindfulness.

You helped me
to love again
to laugh again
to love myself again
to believe in myself again.

May your virgin forests
so green and pure
May the mighty rivers that run through you
that bring you life
May your people
so generous, so holy, and satisfied

May they appreciate
your beauty
preserve your lands
teach their children
how to:
love
laugh
wonder
