107th Homes Birthday Celebration in NYC

We had a small Homes b'day gathering in NYC since it was a last minute thing. The initial plan was to hold a big fund raising party. But in anyways none of the younger OGB's are interested in raising funds for the school, because they feel the funds get looted.. :D

 

Anyway this was the 1st homes gathering in NYC and i am so happy that everyone had a great time and plus other OGB's wanna join us next year. =) You know, we sang hyms/chorouses, school song, said the grace and the lords prayer, spoke in dgh slang, ball dance, called the waiter a bochi, .. it was fabulous. everyone loved it. We expected around 30 OGBs frm NY, but only 21 showed up because some did not get the news, some had other things to do and some just did not show up even after they have been called: personally on the ph. Next year, if we have more OGB's then we will have bigger party.

 

 

Anyway we hope to have more OGB's next year. I have already started informing OGB's in the west coast and canada, so that they can mark it on their 2008 calendar..hahaha J. So i guess this years small gathering was a good way of tempting more OGB's for next years gathering..hahaha.
